Why We Started Saahaay - A Personal Story

Five years ago, my neighbor’s elderly mother was trapped in her apartment during a building fire. The elevators weren’t working, she couldn’t use the stairs easily, and in the chaos, no one knew she was still inside.

That day changed how I think about emergencies. It wasn’t the fire department’s fault, or the building management’s fault. Everyone did their job. But there was no one whose specific job it was to make sure vulnerable people like her didn’t fall through the cracks.

Traditional emergency services do incredible work, but they’re designed for mass response, not individual needs. When thousands of people need help simultaneously, some situations inevitably get less attention than others.

We started Saahaay to fill that gap. Not to replace emergency services, but to complement them. To be the people who know exactly where you are, what you need, and how to help you specifically.

Every member matters to us because our entire business model depends on providing excellent, personalized service. We succeed only when our members feel genuinely cared for and protected.

We believe that when people pay for premium emergency support, they should receive exactly that: premium, reliable, personal support when they need it most.
